Danger area alert

Vehicles striking overheight structures and cables is a very common problem in the construction industry. In addition to overheight structures there are also dangerous areas such as uneven terrain that can cause problems for vehicles. As it is not always possible to have perfect visibility current warning systems such as overheight cones and bunting are not adequate. In addition, there is the human element of a simple loss of concentration.

Intellicone have developed a simple and very cost effective solution to this problem. Specially modified Intellicone Unipart Dorman Conelite lamps emit a warning signal (short range radio frequency) which can be detected by an Intellicone In Vehicle Alarm. The Intellicone Unipart Dorman lamps can be strategically placed near overheight structures (on to already present blue cones in UK) or other areas deemed dangerous for site vehicles. When a vehicle with an Intellicone In Vehicle Alarm gets within 15 meters (range customisable) of the designed area, a warning alert will sound, alerting the driver that he is near an overheight structure or dangerous area.

The simplicity of the Intellicone Danger Area Alert system means that it only requires the positioning of a simple cone and Intellicone Unipart Dorman (Danger Area Alert) cone lamp to be positioned nearby the potential danger area. Once this is done every driver of a vehicle fitted with the Intellicone In Vehicle Alarm will receive an alert when they get close to these area potentially saving lives and preventing damage.
