In 2012, Highway Resource Solutions (Intellicone), partnered
with Aone+ won CIHTs Tarmac Health and Safety at Work Award for their work in developing the Intellicone.
The judges praised the system for the high level of protection
it offered to workers and for its potential for widespread use.
The Intellicone was also commended in the innovation category.
IOT UK (Kings Cross)
January 2016 brought mid-winter joy for HRS, as we won a showcase at the Digital Catapult Internet of Things
competition. As a result, we had a 3 month showcase at the Digital Catapult Centre in London, and were featured on the IOT Website. As part of the prize, a video of HRS was produced. Check out our case study here.
Highways Health & Safety 2016 (Westminster)
HRS had a stall at the Highways health and Safety 2016 event which is only health and safety conference presented by the sector, for the sector. The event tackled the Health and Safety issues we face as an industry today. offering practical solutions to common issues and analysing ways to deliver a safer network.
The government announced new tougher sentencing guidelines and in the wake of a recent landmark ruling which resulted in a custodial prison sentence for a Health and Safety professional for the death of an individual on a work site, companies now, more than ever, need to refocus attention to ensure they are fully compliant with the latest legislation.
This was a one-day interactive seminar which culminated in a mock trial to demonstrate the costs of a failure to comply with policy and procedure.
This event was a must for everyone who has an ultimate responsibility for upholding a company's Health and Safety policy and, most crucially, its reputation. Many companies turned out and we had a good day showcasing our products.
HRS Ltd (Intellicone), was honoured with Highways Magazine Excellence Award in 2011 for HSOG Highway Worker (or Operative) & Site Safety Initiative Award. This was in collaboration with Aone+ Integrated Highway Services.
HRS Ltd (Intellicone), was honoured with Construction news award in 2013 for the Product Innovation of the Year award. This was in collaboration with Aone+.
The judges commented “This is what we call innovation and one that comes from the heart. This brilliant solution in one of the most dangerous sectors of construction can protect site workers on a daily basis and will really save lives”.
